Best Kitchens has one pair of hands behind it — Martin Ward, twenty years into the trade and still measuring twice. There’s no sales team, no rushed sub-contractors and no corners quietly cut where you won’t see them.
Whether we design and supply your kitchen from scratch, or fit one you’ve bought elsewhere, the standard is the same: level doors, tidy joints, honest advice about what you do and don’t need, and a site left cleaner than we found it.
More than a few of our jobs have started with putting right what someone else got wrong. We’d rather be the first call — but we’re happy being the last.
What we do
We can take your whole project on, or slot in wherever you need a proper pair of hands. Associated trades — electrics, plumbing, tiling — arranged as and when the job calls for them.
Your kitchen designed around the room you actually have — with the clever touches that make a small space work harder — then supplied ready to fit.
One point of contact from idea to completion. We manage the build, bring in the trades you need, and see the whole project through to a finished, working kitchen.
Bought from Wren, Howdens or a showroom and just need it fitted right? We install supplied kitchens to the same standard as our own — no shortcuts.
Solid oak and stone worktops fitted and oiled, doors and drawers replaced, and rescue work when someone else’s install hasn’t gone to plan.

Kitchens are our craft — but the same careful, tidy work goes into the bathrooms we take on. Walk-in showers, wall-hung units and proper tiling, finished to the standard you’d expect. It isn’t our main line, so just ask and we’ll let you know if we can help.

We visit, measure up and talk through how you really use the room — then plan a layout that earns its keep.
Cabinets, worktops and fittings specified and ordered, or your own kitchen checked over before a single screw goes in.
A clean, careful install with the right trades brought in at the right time, and honest updates as we go.
Levelled, adjusted and snagged properly, old units taken away, and your kitchen left ready to cook in.
